Haman Impaled
The banquet hosted by Esther takes place. On the Second day while drinking wine, the king again asks Esther what her request is. She asks for the life of her and her people to be spared. When the king asks who is threatening her, she replies that it is Haman. The king is upset and goes out to the garden. Haman pleads with Esther for his life and falls onto the couch where she is reclining. The king sees this and is even more upset. One of the eunuchs serving announces the pole that had been set up in the square and the king orders Haman to be impaled on it.
