Rebellious Israel Purged
The elders come to Ezekiel to inquire of the LORD. But the LORD does not answer them, instead, through Ezekiel recites the history of Israel’s rebellion and how the LORD punished the people for their rebellion but always preserved some in order to keep the covenant He made with them.
