Ezekiel 23:28-49

The chapter concludes by emphasizing that the sin of Samaria and Jerusalem is spiritual adultery. These countries that God provided for in so many ways have both turned their back on God and sacrificed to idols, even including sacrificing their own children. God will bring judgement through the very nations they have been emulating. He meant for them to be different, but they have compromised and copied these other countries and, in doing so, have forgotten everything God has provided for them.
