Nebuchadnezzar’s Vision of a Tree
Nebuchadnezzar has a dream of an enormous tree that towers above the earth and shelters many animals. A messenger from heaven announces that the tree will be cur down and only the stump left. Nebuchadnezzar calls for the wise men to interpret the Dream and only Daniel is able to.
Daniel interprets the Dream
Daniel tells Nebuchadnezzar that he is troubled by the Dream and wished that it pertained to the king’s enemies, but it is about him.
The Dream is fulfilled
Nebuchadnezzar is struck with madness, until he acknowledges that the LORD is supreme over all. Once he does that, he is restored.
